| Glenys Swann says: | Enjoyed a short break in this small friendly Hotel" Was greeted and made to feel wellcome on arrival. Whilst waiting to be shown to our room we were given complimentary cups of coffee. We were impressed by the decor, cleanliness and facilities of both our room and the Hotel itself. As we are early risers we would have preferred to have had a choice of an earlier breakfast than 9am Would recommend to friends and family. |

| JO & ALEX says: | "perfect b&b and we will defently be staying here again 10/10 faultless" me and my boyfriend stayed for two nights to visit blackpool, we had a lovely time room was nice and clean with fresh clean towels and rooms tidyed every day, the breakfast was fab and we was allowed as much as we wanted and endless amounts of fruit juice and tea! Lorna the lady who runs the hotel is fantastic and very welcoming, we will be coming back to blackpool to visit my partners grandparents and we will defently be coming back to the hotel again! |

You always make us feel very welcome and we never want to leave..... all the staff are friendly and cant do enough to help us.. anyways just wanted to express our gratitude and we will see you again next year. | Krishna & Family says: | "Friendly and hospitable hotel, great stay pleasure to have stayed there. Thank you John and Lorna" On arrival were greeted with a very warmly, very friendly hosts, put myself and the children at ease immediately. Our hosts shared their knowledge on the places we should see and had tried them all out first hand which was great so we knew what to expect. Had a key to the front door so we could come and go as we pleased. We met some friends on our second night and as it was too cold to sit by the sea we were allowed to bring them in and spend a couple of hours with us in the hotel lounge. The friendly hosts and staff as well as other patrons, our waiter for the week was so friendly and funny at the same time. We were in a prime location and bang in the middle of all the sites. No negatives not really it was all great, the breakfasts were so filling and had a great cook in our host. Each day we tried to cut down but ended up needing a rest before we set out for the day. Was excellent. Would recommend to friends and family. |

| Our Reply: | This Review has been edited due to the nature of the persons comments and targeted abuse refering to a member of staff. Unfortunatly there where issues with these guests during there stay which as hotel owners we feel are inapropriate to air in a reveiw page. To say the least they have been asked not to make a return stay. Review Editor |

| Carolione & Pete says: | We only stayed for 2 nights, but wished we had booked for longer, a very nice hotel, good position for the prom, staff made us feel very welcome,. When we are in Blackpool again this will be the first hotel to try. |

| A Laterooms customer says: | pleasant stay we arrived a little early and thought we would see if we could check in so we could start our weekend. We were met by the owner , i asked him about parking all the parking was gone and it was a case of first come first served, bearing in mind check in not from 2pm, it was 12 oclock when we arrived. He came across as quite take it or leave it and unhelpful. We were however lucky enough to find a parking outside the hotel after repeatedly driving around in circles for about 25 mins. We were allowed to check in early which we were pleased with. After meeting lorna (the female owner) she showed us to our room and gave us a quick tour , what a pleasant woman. My husband and i stayed in a superior room which was clean and tidy well decorated( room 9 ) shower however was rubbish. Lovely breakfast next morning and served by a waiter . We would stay here again , thanls to lorna . |
| Our Reply: | Hotel Response With regard to parking the guest was informed that parking is allocated on a first come basis and that our car park was full, she was also advised as to where she could park close to the hotel for free and paid for parking, which I feel is being helpful and not off hand. Most of our guests stay for more than 1 night and parking had already been allocated to these guests who arrived on Friday or earlier. Reference the comment about the shower being rubbish i am not sure want she means as after receiving this review we had the pressure tested and it was operating within acceptable parameters. At no time during their stay was any of the issues raised with the management staff, as i am sure if they had been we would have been able to rectify them there and then. Lorna (Partner) |

| Kerstie and Billy says: | Fantastic Hi Lorna and John Just a short note to thank you very much for our lovely stay at your delighful hotel. You were both excellent hosts and we had a fabulous time. Our room was immaculately clean, cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the bar was well stocked with Billy's favourite Carling lager and my favourite Bombay Sapphire gin!!! You both worked very hard to ensure that our stay was a memorable one and it definitely was. We have stayed in Blackpool many times and the New Phildene was by far the best (and most reasonable) hotel we have stayed in. We are looking forward to returning some time in September.
